Who we are

These terms are between you and Obour Foods, LLC ("Obour Foods", "we", "us"), a food company in San Francisco, California that makes hummus, toum, tahini and pita chips. By using obourfoods.com or placing an order, you agree to them. Questions: [email protected].

Using this website

• The words, photos, logos and designs on this site belong to Obour Foods. You're welcome to share links to it; please don't copy or reuse our content for commercial purposes without asking.
• We work to keep product details, ingredients, prices and market times accurate, but mistakes and changes happen. Check the label on the jar for ingredients and allergens: it's always the final word.
• Don't misuse the site, its forms or its order page (for example with automated or fake orders).

Ordering ahead for pickup

• Where and when. You can order on obourfoods.com/order for pickup at one of our farmers market booths or our Ferry Building shop, on a day and during the hours shown when you order.
• Prices and payment. Prices are in US dollars and include the same deals as our booths. You pay by card through Square's secure card form; we never see or store your card number.
• Guaranteed and same-day orders. Orders placed by 8pm Pacific the night before pickup are guaranteed, and your card is charged when you order. For orders placed later (the morning of, or during the market), your card is only held: our team checks what they have, and you're charged only when they accept your order and set it aside. If they can't fill it, or can't answer within 30 minutes of your order (or of opening, if you order before the market opens), the hold is released and you're not charged.
• Picking up. Come to the booth or shop during its hours that day and show your 4-digit pickup code (on your order page, and in your texts if you chose them). Our team hands over an order only with its code. Our dips are fresh food that has to stay cold, so we can't hold orders past closing time.
• Changes and cancellations. To change or cancel an order, email [email protected] before pickup day. If a market is cancelled (for example by weather) or we can't fill your order, we'll let you know and refund you in full, or move your order if you'd rather.
• Refunds. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days. If something is wrong with your order, email us and we'll make it right.

Text messages (Obour Foods order updates)

• What they are. If you tick "Text me order updates" when you order, Obour Foods sends text messages about that order from our number 1-833-88-OBOUR ((833) 886-2687): that your order is in, that it's set aside, a pickup-day reminder, and if we can't fill it and have refunded you. We don't send marketing texts.
• It's optional. Texts are not required to order. The box is never ticked for you.
• How often. Message frequency varies: up to 4 texts per order.
• Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
• Stop. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. We'll send one text to confirm, and nothing after that. Reply START to get them again.
• Help. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported on all major US carriers.
• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. See our privacy policy.

Our responsibility

We stand behind our food. If a product isn't right, tell us and we'll replace it or refund it. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, the site is provided as is, and Obour Foods isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site or the ordering service; our total responsibility for any order is limited to what you paid for it.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. Changes don't affect orders already placed. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
